Konya, minna!

I'm Nephtiry, but you can call me Neph ^^ I'm 15 years old; I was named after the Ancient Egyptian queen, Nefertiti, King Ramses' favorite wife. I'm African-American, as you can guess from my name origin.

Namie is my favorite Japanese musician. I got into her when I wanted to know who sung 'Come' from InuYasha. I convinced my mom to buy me her Queen of Hip-Pop album online (I just payed her back with some of my allowance) and I was hooked.

Although I'm black, I'm a total Asia freak. Most of my favorite artists are either Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. Except my absolute favorite singer next to Namie, Linda, who is a hugely popular Russian singer.

My favorite artists other than Namie and Linda are Koda Kumi, Dir en Grey, Mika Nakashima, An Cafe, the GazettE, DBSK, Lee Hyori, Mois dix Moi (Mana=my fashion idol (don't ask)), Emme Wong, and Jolin Tsai.

I'm studying foreign language and fashion design at a community college. As far as language, I'm learning Japanese, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese. But I want to know three other Chinese dialects, French, Swedish, Russian, and Korean too. I'm teaching myself Korean at home on the sidelines and plan to teach myself the other languages I can't take formal lessons in. Oh, the wonders of the internet xD
